help wanted... always

dragonsworn is a product of its volunteers, and we couldn't ask for a more dedicated group of people. if you'd like to join us, we'd love to have you. you can browse the categories below and see if anything suits you. if nothing attracts you specifically, just get in touch with us and we'll find something that fits.

we would like to stress that all of us are volunteers, nobody gets paid to run the site. as a result, we can't offer you any material compensation for your help. read that last sentence again before you email us, it'll save time on both ends.

feel free to browse the 'help wanted' area on inspiration, if you'd prefer more of an open dialogue or have suggestions on how you can help.

reviewers wanted

we're very interested in reviews of movies, books, and games - in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres. if you're at all interested in reviewing anything, we'd love to hear from you. keep in mind there are no commitments or anything. If you'd just like to submit one review on a product you feel strongly about - go ahead and do just that. if on the other hand, you'd like to join our staff and submit regular reviews, we couldn't be more pleased. no formal training is required, and the format is pretty flexible. if you're even remotely interested in sharing your thoughts with our community, please get in touch with us. we'll provide you with all the necessary details

fiction authors

we're pleased to offer some excellent works of fiction to our readers, and are eager to pick up some more. if you've written (or intend to write) a short story that's sci-fi/fantasy/horror related, we'd like to hear from you. the caveats are simple. original fiction only please, and not an extract from a full-length novel, preferrably something self-contained. if you'd like more information, we encourage you to contact us.

calling all poets

each of our issues shipped with a strong poetry section that was always well-received by our fans. it's been our intent to continue to provide poetry as we moved to an online form, but we haven't had the resources or time to implement it properly. this time around, we plan on doing it right with 'conception', our new poetry site. although the site will be open to general registration, we're interested in starting out with a few staff poets. if you'd like to share your work with other poets and readers, email us a couple samples. keep in mind that poetry does not need to be sci-fi/fantasy/horror related, although that's always a plus. we look forward to reading your work.

our 'articles' section is really a catch-all for content. if you'd like to expound upon a theory on a certain series of books/movies/games, comment on industry practices, or just talk about general trends - this is the place to do it. again, requirements are pretty flexible, and we'd love to hear any ideas you might have. as per usual, just get in touch, and we'll go from there.

these are just a few of the openings we have, but by no means all of them. we're also looking for a couple artists, communications staff, managers for dvn, and more. basically, if you have a couple hours a week you can spare, we can use your help. drop us a line and let us know what you would like to do. we can let you know where we need help, and find something that will suit your specific skill. we look forward to working with you.
